A landscape carried with you: hills of knuckles, valley of palm, and fingertip forests

A landscape carried with you is a participatory performance which was my contribution for the beautifully curated gathering About AiR. It was a multisensory exploration of the unique role our hands play in shaping our interaction with the world. My wish was to illuminate the hand more than a mere tool; it is a personal landscape, an intimate medium that navigates and interacts with our surroundings. Through this exploration, the project invited participants to reconsider the hand's significance not only in anticipating taste but in constructing and enriching our culinary narratives, urging us to view them as the intimate landscapes they truly are, forever carried with us.
