'And Mustard' is a small offering considering the magic of the mustard seed presented in the group show Hot Sausage and Mustard hosted by Govan Project Space in Glasgow. Mustard is one of the most common spice ingredients, benefiting from its ability to span various flavour profiles and compliment various different cuisines. Somehow it feels like its place is always on the back seat and rarely runs the show on its own. However it always let you know it's there. For the occasion of this group show I planned to reverse the order and put the mustard seed under the spotlight. I was offering pretzel ice-cream with variety of mustard condiments like like maple syrup and beer mustard, or simply toasted black and yellow mustard seeds for guests to try as well as some other small bites containing the mighty mustard.
